G&M Manufacturing Corporation produces precision metal stampings. We supply stampings to numerous industries such as automotive, electronics, electrical, medical, industrial and consumer products. We ship to customers world wide with over 40% of our sales exported.
G&M attains superior customer satisfaction and customer value by putting a primary emphasis on designing manufacturing processes that will maximize quality and productivity performance. This advanced planning will minimize long term costs and potential defects allowing us to construct tooling that is guaranteed at G&M for the life of the program.
We are running tooling that has made over a half a billion parts.
G&M was established in 1967 and is located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We pride ourselves on being a stable, long term supplier to all of our customers. We have very low employee turnover with a non-unionized workforce. We process a wide variety of materials including copper alloys, stainless steel, high and low carbon steels, aluminum, clad materials, and flat plastics. Many materials we process are preplated with tin, nickel, zinc, silver, gold, palladium among others. Plating can be applied before or after stamping in configurations including selective stripe and spot. Parts can be supplied loose, on reels in continuous coils, or other packaging systems. G&M performs degreasing and de-burring internally. Heat treating and plating operations are subcontracted. We provide PPAPs on production programs according to AIAG PPAP standards and customer requirements.
